Day 1: Arrival & The Giants of Udawalawe

Morning: Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) or get picked up from your hotel in Colombo. Begin your journey towards the southern dry zone.
Afternoon: Experience your first wildlife safari in Udawalawe National Park. Known for its large herds of free-roaming Asian elephants, you are guaranteed to witness these gentle giants up close, along with crocodiles, water buffalo, and various bird species.

Day 2: Elephant Conservation & Journey to Yala

Morning: Visit the Elephant Transit Home in Udawalawe to watch orphaned elephant calves being fed and cared for before they are released back into the wild.
